Doing a bunch of posts the same night so I don’t forget so I’m going to make this quick too. This one is different from most shows as this was paid for by my work and part of a Costco charity event. I was excited to see Brandi Carlisle was playing as I know she’s amazing and also love that she’s local.
She said they had flew in from Philadelphia so regrettably didn’t have drums. She was surprised she was playing in the middle of the field, I think she must have assumed it be a much smaller event. Nevertheless she put on an acoustic show and although I don’t know many of her songs it was killer and her voice blew me away. Everyone was pretty transfixed the whole time, especially for a corporate type event.
Anyways, looking forward to seeing her play again, with a full band, at bourbon and beyond festival!
